Here are our top ten tips to improve your sleep:
1.Have a regular sleep time. Try to go to bed and get up around the same time each day.
2.Wind down and relax before bed. Perhaps a warm bath or relaxation techniques. Avoid electronic devices within one hour of bed time.
3.Make sure your bedroom is comfortable with a good supportive mattress, a dark room and pleasant ambient temperature.
4.Your bedroom should be used for two things,sleeping and sex. Avoid taking electronic devices or watching TV in bed.
5.Avoid caffeine, alcohol and cigarettes before bed.
6.Try to get the right amount of sleep. Most adults need 7 to 8 hours a night.
7.Avoid day time naps.Sleeping during the day will make it harder to sleep well at night.
8.If your'e still awake after about 20 minutes in bed, get up and read ahile to relax. Otherwise you'll set yourself up for tossing and turning.
9.Avoid taking sleeping pills.
